Life is…
Challenging
Scary
A constant balancing act
With no relief in sight
Interspersed with fewer laughs
So I am learning
Slow learner that I am
I learn the reason for my slowness
And one day,
Hopefully I will not need
To relearn these lessons so many times.

So such is life
And who knows
Maybe there is an up after the down
Sure hope there is
Because I am not willing
To give up now

I fight on
I am not ready
To surrender
To throw in that white flag
And offer that compromise

Life is….
Searching
Searching for those who care
Searching for that which I love
Searching for him who I can love
Searching for me
Searching….
And fighting.
